Dirk Markham grew up in Aboyne, Dirk Markhama village in “Royal” Deeside in the north east of Scotland (an hour inland from Aberdeen). His music is mainly instrumental although occaisonally the odd folk-rock song pops up out of nowhere. Dirk has been residing in Berlin for the last two years where he works for the labels monika enterprise and international dj gigolos. Life for Dirk is a musical journey on which he is constantly searching for new sounds. Dirk’s recent works include tracks on Ryan Van Winkels album “I hate myself, i’m a genius, i ruin everything, im so lonely” and a mini-album of Christmas songs called “advent”. Dirk is currently working on Psycho-acoustic scultptures Vol. 3 and about to release  which he did with Forest’s Urban Exploration Society.
