Mientras una parte de la indústria discográfica intenta adaptarse a una nueva realidad, hay una pequeña parte de la indústria que hace años que ha roto con los modelos convencionales. Este fragmento tiene muy claro como es el presente, como ha cambiado y como actuar en consecuencia. Los medios generalistas hablan de una emergente democratización de la cultura gracias a Internet y las nuevas tecnologías. Esta transformación pide nuevas actitudes, tanto para los consumidores como para los creadores. netAudio Barcelona 2008 son unas jornadas para descubrir como es este nuevo panorama, que nos ofrece y como podemos aprovecharnos de sus características. Todo esto por el mismo precio que Google ofrece sus servicios.

An jedem dritten Dienstag im Monat heißt es im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe “Dienstagswelt” im Berliner RAW.tempel “netaudio & Friends”. An diesen Abenden präsentieren sich (nicht ausschließlich, aber immer mindestens ein bis zwei, manchmal auch mehr) Netaudio-Künstler bzw.  DJs elektronische Clubtunes aus dem Netaudio- Universum. Das erste Event dieser Art findet am Dienstag den 23.09. statt.

Zum Herbstanfang  treffen sich die Netaudiofreaks auch noch aus einem besonders ausgelassenen Anlass: Norris aus der freiraum.ms - Community feiert seinen Geburtstag! Er ist im Umfeld des Münsteraner Netlabels Satellit unterwegs und bringt gleich noch seine Freundin Cinthie [Low Spirit] mit, die mit ihren legedären Rafgier-Parties schon für viel Gesprächsstoff gesorgt hat. Beide kommen mit kompromisslosem Elektrosound aus der musikalischen Geburtstagstorte gesprungen. Befeuert wird der Abend von einem alten Bekannten, dem Mixotic-Labelhead Q-Man, der nicht nur bereits 135 Mix-Releases auf seinem Label vorweisen kann, sondern der schon auf diversen Netlag-Parties sowie auf dem Berliner netaudio Festival seine eigenen musikalischen Höhepunkte gesetzt hat. Als besonderen Gast des Abends begrüßen wir zudem J-Lab von netaudio.london/ metroline, der hoffentlich noch einmal ein solch tolles Liveset zurechtbastelt, wie zur jüngsten netaudio Pingpong Party am vergangenen Freitag an selber Stelle . Für das Anfachen Eurer Tanzwut zeichnet sich heute (B)Tonmischer von der Schallfront verantwortlich.

Freut Euch auf ausgelassene Partystimmung und druckvolle Sounds aus den elektronischen Soundlabors der Republik - und Großbritanniens!

Am 19.09. ist es mal wieder Zeit für eine Netaudio Party. Seit Jahren hat die Freie Musik- und Netlabel-Szene ihre Heimat im RAW gefunden. Nach dem Netaudio-Festival im vergangenen Jahr erwartet Euch auch diesmal wieder elektronische Tanzmusik vom Allerfeinsten. Außerdem bringen unsere Freunde aus London ihr Netaudio Ping Pong-Spiel mit, ein interaktives und äußerst lustiges Musikspiel, bei dem statt Tischtenniskellen Controller bedient werden… Bringt Spiellaune mit – und lasst Euch überraschen!
Die Party markiert einerseits den Studienabschluss der Veranstalterin und soll Lust machen auf die kommenden Netaudio-Festivals in London im Oktober sowie in Berlin im Herbst 2009.

From 13th to 14th of September the annual Hipnotik Festival will take place at the Centre de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB). The festival enlightens the Hip Hop Culture in Spain - as shown in the events Subtitle “The Block Party”.

Within this national meeting there’s some netaudio activity from netaudio.es, the formation of Spanish netlabels. They’ve been setting up some workshops about theory and praxis of musical creation, expansion and distribution. As the organizors of the workshops explain, netlabels have been developing into a key field in between contemporay music, creativity and published works. The new type of licensing models provided by the creative commons framework plays an important role in serving the needs of the authors, composers and creators of music. The workshops also includes practical issues of electronic distribution via netlabels, internet platforms and other suitable channels.
The participants might release their - on the spot and during the workshop - produced track on the hipnotik netlabel!

Inscriptions are 40 Euro including 30 Euro festival ticket and 10 Euro for the workshop. Registration has to be done until Sept 8th, just send an email to info@encuentrohipnotik.com. The workshop will take place on both days from 13 to 15h at the aula of the CCCB.
