Netaudio Berlin: Berlin Wall Of Sound

As this year?s festival theme is "East meets West" and it occurs just before the 20th anniversary of the fall of the wall we initiated the "Berlin Wall of Sound" Project - a sound map of field recordings of the route of the former Berlin Wall. Jon Dickens aka J-Lab started thinking about his project when he came to Berlin in winter 2008/2009 - he began thinking about how netaudio and creative commons are breaking down barriers and walls in the music ... International edition of phlow magazine issued a nice interview with Antina Michels and Raimund Reintjes, two of the core members of the orga crew talking about this and that and even more in the matter of this year's festival. Mo, the editor of the magazine, will be at the Netaudio Festival 2009 not only as a moderator for a discussion panel within the daytime program but also as a DJ on the ... Vorwärts...


Yes – we can! Live Stream & Radio

Our venue, Maria am Ostbahnhof (Mao), really did not offer the best circumstances for broadband streaming and W-Lan facilities. Nevertheless we spend some energy, time and work in this issue to improve the situation - so that we now can announce that there will be a livestream from the festival - approximately for the daytime as well as the nighttime programme. Fr 04.09. NETLAG – Netaudiofestival Warmup Session

On Friday, September 4th, the Netlag-Crew will host a Warmup-Session for the Netaudiofestival at RAW-Tempel (Revaler Straße 99). Boarding time will be 21:00, a creative-commons-film ("sita sings the blues") will be shown at 21:30, and the regular night-programme commences at 23:00. Admission fee is 4 Euro only!
